Last updated: 26 October 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how The Suya Factory Limited (company number 11503318) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.thesuyafactory.com, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and UK GDPR. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include pixels, tags and local storage. They help websites work, remember your choices and provide information to the site owner.

Your choices

When you first visit our website, a cookie banner asks whether you accept non-essential cookies. Analytics and marketing cookies are only used if you accept them. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the website, such as the basket and checkout, from working.

Cookies we use

1. Strictly necessary

These are needed for the website to work and do not require consent. They are set by Shopify, which hosts our website, and include cookies that:

  • keep items in your basket and process checkout and payment securely;
  • keep the website secure and prevent fraud;
  • remember your cookie preferences.

2. Preferences

These remember choices you make, such as your language or region.

3. Analytics

These help us understand how visitors use our website, such as which pages are visited and how long people stay, so we can improve it. They are provided by Shopify and Google.

4. Marketing

These are set by advertising platforms to measure our adverts and show you relevant ads on their platforms. We use:

These cookies can last from the end of your visit up to around 2 years, depending on the provider. Some of these companies are based outside the UK; see section 5 of our Privacy Policy for how your data is protected.

Third-party content

Some pages include content from other services, such as maps, our Instagram feed or booking tools. These services may set their own cookies, which are covered by their own policies.

Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies through their settings. Find out more at ico.org.uk.
